Wards

We look after your pets like they are our own

We have 3 wards for inpatients. The cat and dog wards have spacious kennels of varying sizes, including 2 walk-in kennels for extra large dogs. Inpatient areas are fully equipped for patients requiring intensive care and there is plenty of space for exercise and rehabilitation.

Rabbits, rodents, birds and other exotic species have special hospitalisation requirements and it is important to house them away from predator species.

Our small pets ward has specially designed fibreglass kennels to reduce stressful noise and retain heat, as well as appropriate cages for birds and smaller rodents. The rabbit kennels are larger to allow bunnies to move around and stand on their hind legs.

Separate self-contained isolation wards are available for cats or dogs known to be at a higher risk of spreading infection, where they can receive intensive nursing.
